Have you ever bought a book about how to read body language?

I have!

The book’s name was ‘What Every Body Is Saying’ by Joe Navarro. After reading this, I developed an interest towards the writer so I bought some other books of his which were available on Amazon.

Joe was a retired FBI agent who specialized in studying of body language of humans. I won’t go into details, if you are interested you can search him on Google, and you will find plenty of data.

After reading the books I learned that I have been reading others body language for as long as I could remember. Maybe not as accurately as it was stated in those books, but I used to get a general idea of what the person is feeling or thinking.

Of course, reading the book helped me perfectly interpret those languages.

And when I gave it some more thought I realized we all do this since we are babies. And unless you are a cop or a secret agent, you don’t need any formal training to learn this. Then again if you are an interested party like me, you can buy books about this topic like I did.

Remember when as a child you could just tell when your parents were upset with you without them telling you anything, all they had to do was silently stare at you.

I grew up in a strict household so I had to be very aware of these things. To not upset my parents or elder ones in general.

Or in the playground when you just knew a couple of other kids were coming to beat you. Because you did not give them your tiffin money.

With your siblings or cousins, you instinctively knew the teasings that they would enjoy and the ones that could hurt them.

You knew all these things because you were subconsciously studying their body language.

The way your parents or elder ones stare at you, the position of their arms. Or the kids who are coming to beat you, their facial expressions or the way they were walking. The facial expression of your siblings to decide if they are enjoying the teasing or if it is hurting them.

You read this thing and sometimes you took action and other times it was too late to take action because your conscious mind did not want to believe in these things.

Then you grew up and became more rational. And forgot to believe in these things.

But when you became an adult you finally understood the significance of reading the body language but by this time it was too late.

You were confused about what your mind telling you is true or just something that your mind is making up.

But I am here to tell you what your mind is telling you is true. It is not your imagination.

Especially after looking at someone if you get a bad vibe, that is one hundred percent correct because your subconscious was able to pick up on some micro-expressions and gestures that can’t be explained but they are true.

If you don’t believe me you can read a dozen books and in the end will come to this same conclusion.

So next time you are getting a ‘vibe’ from someone accept it and act according to it.

Thank you for staying until the end!
