Which Would You Pick?
As an introvert and know it all I love to travel alone.
There were times when I was the odd one out because everyone was with someone, and me standing alone in the corner.
I do it mostly because involving another person means I have to wait for them.
In matters like these, I am the punctual one and they are always late. That means calling, texting and waste of time.
Second is when it comes to paying bills.
In order to avoid discomfort, when I try to pay for it, they say
No, we should split.
Then comes the problem of who will pay how much. Too much drama.
Another one is transportation.
I am a silver spoon when it comes to transportation. I don’t like to compromise with my comfort.
If I can complete thousands of miles with a flight, I am not going to book a train and waste a day. But for many, this comes off as a waste of money.
But there are certain benefits to traveling with a group, or at least with a companion.
I have never done it myself but I have observed.
Conversations are amazing on the road. You two can talk about anything.
Shared moments feel like a dream. And you will remember them even after years have passed.
One undeniable fact is when people travel together, it strengthens the bond among them.
As traveling means significant time being spent together and seeing each other’s weaknesses and embracing them.
And in this generation, pictures are an essential part.
If others are with you this problem will never arise. But when alone, it is hard to take proper pictures of yourself with the view. Because sometimes selfies don’t count.
Personally, I am not completely opposed to the idea of traveling with someone, especially of the opposite sex.
Sitting on a bench, drinking coffee, in times like this, I wish someone was sitting with me.
So I suggest if you want to travel with someone, choose those who share your mindset. That makes the process a lot easier.
Thank you for staying until the end!
