Do you ever think about happy memories and smile?
A few weeks ago I was thinking about certain happy moments of my life and like always they made me smile.
Sometimes I smile by myself and people think I am crazy. Now how can I explain to them? That unlike them whose happiness depends on the people, my happiness lies in my memories.
One incident that stands out in my memory is when I started to deeply care for an interesting person. I don’t know if I should call it Love or not.
For me, LOVE is an equal mixture of care and respect for the other person.
But like someone else’s beautiful dream, this dream of mine didn’t last either. Reality came and shook me up from the dream.
Time might pass by but memories last like a blood stain on a white shirt.
So when I was thinking I realized I wasn’t feeling happy only because of her.
How can I be?
She wasn’t the only one involved. We usually don’t feel lovey-dovey about a person all the time. We feel that intense emotion only at certain times.
So whenever I focused on her I wasn’t getting that same feeling but a different, more of a neutral one.
It was the whole setting including her which was making me happy. The emotions I felt when I was with her in that setting were making me happy.
And these feelings lie in the moments that I shared with her, not in the person alone.
Moments, which are created by several factors like the situation, surroundings, timing and the atmosphere.
So giving all the credit only to the person is not right.
Thank you for staying until the end!
